Robin Birdie is my pen name.

alilbirdie.com will have a secret shopping element to it and I am a certified Secret Shopper. I also have my own business in Santa Clarita.

My goal is to post reviews about the best of the best in Santa Clarita. I have worked in Santa Clarita for over 10 years, and have seen businesses come and go. I have been a Chamber Member, a member of Womenʼs groups and a dozen networking groups. I love to help promote local businesses.

Over the years I have been asked (hundreds of times) questions like “hey do you know a good plumber?” or “where can I take my new girlfriend to impress her?” Friends and business partners alike have asked for my opinions and referrals. I have watched great businesses go under just because of a poor location or lack of an advertising budget. I have read good books from local authors that were published, but didnʼt sell. I have seen artists never get a break.

This is what prompted me to become the alilbirdie.com of Santa Clarita. I want to be the secret shopper for the people!

For now, I need to remain anonymous. I think it will be more enjoyable for my members, not to mention much easier to do a site visit on the businesses I will be reviewing. I donʼt want to influence anyone if I were to review there business, book, art show or event! Keep in mind, alilbirdie.com only wants to promote the best of the best in Santa Clarita, so I will NEVER post a negative review. If I feel a business does not meet alilbirdie.com Standards then no review will be posted at all. In fact, if they don’t meet the Standards, I will be passing on my information to the business so that they can use the information collected to better their efforts. I want alilbirdie.com to be fun, honest, and helpful to the members and the people/businesses I review.
